but to a certain extent I believe AI has improved a great deal over the last 4 years across the board. Yes, the ai seemed to be "remarkably stupid as they said," but he went on to say that a patch may well come for it. A good dev like the Codies will take heed and make necessary changes...and they will; I'm confident enough to purchase it.

Kizzy 2 has great ai on Veteran let alone Elite, and yes Elite is fantastic. All that said, I'm actually heading out the door to Wal-Mart to buy this phucking game. >_<

Just picked this game up and feel like from all I've seen and read about this title, I should say something like:
"We who are prepared to Die, Salute you.."
and nothing will as far as I can tell. These folks are at the pinnacle of their game and honestly, I hope that devs like T10 keep coming along to talk rubbish and stir up controversy, because it just makes PD work harder and makes the competition look so much more sophomoric and irrelevant altogether. mmm really? Pretty sure that goes to UC2, and if PD would've rushed out GT5 (and I'm so glad they're not), then it would've dropped the H-Bomb on Christmas sales, so I'm not agreeing with the "hands down" part.
I hate to beat a dead horse here but this looks like cack compared to the competition. I must say though, after seeing the comparisons to Forza 2 I'm not surprised, but disappointed for fans of the series.
